Owned and run by Garry King for over 20 years, Autografica is UACC Registered Dealer 179, and AFTAL approved dealer 02. Garry is the UACC Ethics Board member for the UK, and also Vice Chairman of AFTAL. Autografica have been offering autographs and signed displays full time for the last 18 years, and during this time have become one of the best-known autograph dealers in the UK. Garry has attended all the relevant UACC authentication and appraisal courses both here and in the USA, as well as organising and running an AFTAL backed course for dealers in the UK.

Autografica have been featured on many local and national radio and TV stations including the BBC’s ‘Inside Out’ (twice), The Real Hustle, The One show, Fake Britain with Dominic Littlewood, Chris Evans Drive time show, The Steve Wight show, Venessa Feltz show as well as local and national papers and magazines, including the Times, Guardian and a 4 page spread in F1 magazine.

If you are looking to buy autographs from any unknown dealer, here are a few words of advice. Anyone who makes claims about being the  ‘dealing in autographs for over 15 years’ or 'we obtain all our stock direct from top AFTAL dealers' etc, then we urge you to speak with other known ACAF, UACC Registered Dealers (not members) or AFTAL Approved Dealers first, and find out just how 'well known' they really are!

If they are as well known and knowledgeable as they say, then they should be members of one of those groups, and would certainly be known to most of the other autograph dealers around the UK. If they are not, well, make you up your own mind!

If they claim to be a member of either organisation, or even suggest that they abide by their rules etc, then you should also check this out at either of the two websites, as all UACC Registered and AFTAL Approved dealers are listed for public viewing. You may well be surprised to learn that not everyone who claims membership of these associations are actually members!

There are other Associations that collectors can join, but these are for collectors which men that anyone can join! AFTAL are the only Association that vets every application and ensures that its members abide by their strict codes. Not every applicant is accepted, many are refused, so perhaps you should be asking any dealer why they are not a member, as they may be hiding something!
